Learning and Development has always been a passion of mine, through school (Go Hokies!) and moving into my professional career. I have had the pleasure of working for different industries as I have grown in my career: Einstein Brothers Bagels, Caribou Coffee, Rite Aid Pharmacy and most recently Chewy.com. At Chewy, I oversee Training and Development for our Customer Service function, focusing on what we can do to best take care of our customers, no matter what. What I love about training and development is that there is no standard, no rule book on how to train or develop people. Each project or initiative is a new start to design and launch in the best way that suits the content, and will make the biggest impact to the business. This field is constantly evolving, and as leaders in this space our role is to continue to push and evolve with it.
